Oregon Anglers welcomes the newest member of our team. The Oregon Coast Sportfishing Association voted to join at their meeting on Monday March 20, 2006. They bring the strength of the coastal charter boat fleet which takes thousands of sport fishermen and women out to fish the salt. Without this fleet, many anglers from all over would never be able to experience the incredible resource we have off our state's shore

This group dedicates itself to teaching drift boat and other "float boat"
owners how to safely run their boats on both easy runs and upper white water
runs on the North Santiam River. Their group runs have taught many new
boaters, no doubt saving lives. Chief Guide Bill Sanderson reports regularly on changes and obstacles to the river.
